Althea Rae Duhinio Janario

Despite not making it past the first round of Star Search's singing competition in 1985, Hawaiian-born Althea Rae Duhinio Janario was spotted by a talent agent and cast in a movie shooting on location called Aloha Summer under the stage name "Tia Carrere."
She hasn't stopped working since.
Her big break was a two-year stint on the soap General Hospital.
From there she went on to various guest spots on tv series as well as co-starring roles in features including both Wayne's World films, where she performed her own singing!
Tia's done a lot of genre, both as a heroine and a villainess, either way looking good and obviously enjoying her work!
Currently, she's doing a lot of animation voice work, but we look forward to seeing her in the flesh on screen soon (like her recent guest appearances on Warehouse 13)
Trivia:
She was offered a regular role on A-Team, but had to turn it down to due to her contract with General Hospital!
She turned down a regular role on BayWatch to do Wayne's World.
She has three solo albums (including one Grammy winner) as well as performances on three soundtrack albums!

Karina Lombard

Born in Tahiti, Karina moved to Europe where she became fluent Spanish, English, Italian, French, and German along with extensive training in performing arts while attending private schools.
After turning 18, she relocated to New York where she began modeling, dancing and acting, on both stage and screen.
Note: Since she's multi-lingual, Karina has appeared in numerous productions in Italy and France that have not aired in the US. (Our loss!)
Like several other Fantastic Femmes including Jennifer Beals, and Pam Grier, Karina has been a regular on the award-winning cable series The L Word.
Currently, she's appearing on the acclaimed cable series Rescue Me. as well as developing a project (which she's writing the music and lyrics for) with Cirque de Soleil.
