A talented actress who you've seen in numerous genre shows and films...though you may not realize it!
She's been a supporting player on several genre shows simultaneously!

Dichen Lachman

Dichen made such an impression on a soap opera producer that, instead of getting the part she auditioned for, they created an entirely new character for her!
Yes, she has that effect on people!
Even when doing schlock like Aztec Rex, Dichen makes watching it worthwhile.
Luckily, most of her work has been in quality genre productions like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., DollHouse and Torchwood: Miracle Day.
She's currently appearing as Roulette on Supergirl!
Genre appearances include...
SuperGirl (Roulette)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Jiaying)
Last Ship (Jesse)
The 100 (Anya)
Last Resort (Tani Tumrenjack)
Being Human [US] (Izumi)
Torchwood: Miracle Day (CIA Agent Lyn Peterfeld)
NCIS: Los Angeles "Full Throttle"
Hawaii Five-0 [2010-Present] "Mana'o"
DollHouse (Sierra aka Priya Tsetsang)
Bled (Aaren)
AquaMarine (Beth-Ann)
With DollHouse co-star Eliza Dushku in Self Magazine!

Ana Claudia Talancon

Ana Claudia Talancon started out by performing in Mexican soap operas, doing pages and pages of heavy, emotion-wrenching material on a daily basis.
It's an excellent, albeit brutal, training ground for any performer.
Many fall by the wayside, burned out by the pressure, but not Ana! If anything she endured and prospered!
From there, she's moved on to mini-series like and Terminales and both Spanish and English-language feature films including Love in the Time of Cholera,  receiving both fan acclaim and nominations for multiple awards!
She has a bright future, and I, for one, eagerly await her next appearance! ;-)

Genre appearances include...
DollHouse(Galena)
Terminales (Abril Márquez)
Alone with Her(Amy)
One Missed Call(Taylor Anthony)
Days of Wrath (Samantha Rodriguez)
